General
The Custodian 1300C is a 13 metre multipurpose workboat built for sustained offshore work. With a full-height wheelhouse seating twelve industrial personnel and two crew, a bow boarding arrangement and a large open aft working deck, it is a genuine crew transfer vessel that also takes on dive support, survey and patrol duties without modification.

Hull and construction
The 1300C carries the deep bow V and sharp deadrise that define the Custodian range, so it stays workable when the weather turns. The hull is built in marine grade aluminium, scantled to DNV workboat rules and finished to ISO standards, giving a structure dimensioned for the loads it will genuinely see in service rather than the loads it might see on a good day.
Deck and capacity
The aft working deck carries up to 1000 kg and the forward deck up to 500 kg, with a boarding platform forward for transfers onto fixed structures. The deck is left clear so it can be laid out for the job: survey desks, moonpool, davit, A-frame, dive gates, pole mounts and container fixings are all possible within the parameters.
Propulsion
Three propulsion routes are available, and the choice sets the speed:
- twin or triple outboards, petrol or diesel
- inboard diesel with sterndrive
- inboard diesel with waterjet
Depending on the package the craft runs between 30 and 45 knots. ICE and electric combinations are available for operators working to emissions targets.
