Terms of Use

Essential Marine B.V. is a member of the Nederlandse Jachtbouw Industrie (NJI). All our quotations, orders, deliveries and works are governed by the NJI general terms and conditions.

Applicable terms

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the Algemene Aannemings-, Leverings- en Betalingsvoorwaarden van de Nederlandse Jachtbouw Industrie (NJI delivery terms) apply to every quotation, order confirmation, agreement and delivery made by Essential Marine B.V.

These terms are drawn up by the NJI in consultation with builders and clients, are kept current with Dutch legislation and case law, and set out the rights and obligations of both the client and the yard in plain language. They are filed with the registry of the district court.

Where to read them

The NJI terms are published in Dutch, English and German and can be downloaded from the NJI website: jachtbouw.nl/algemene-voorwaarden.

A copy is supplied with every quotation and order confirmation. If you would like a copy in advance, or in a specific language, contact us at info@essentialmarine.nl and we will send one.

Specifications, drawings, weights, speeds and capacities are indicative and depend on the chosen configuration; they are not binding until confirmed in writing in a quotation or contract. Images may show optional equipment or craft built to a customer specification.
